Cherokee to host several events Saturday
Cherokee Main Street will be hosting their October Stroll and Festival Saturday, Oct. 3 along Grand Avenue in Cherokee.
The day begins at 8 a.m. with the Firemen’s Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Benefit at the Cherokee Fire Department located at the fire station.
Money raised will go to support the fire department and donations of cash and checks will be accepted.
The breakfast will conclude at 9:30 a.m.
Starting at 10 a.m. the vendors will be open for business.
The October Stroll will offer a variety of vendors.
Numerous vendors will be open until 3 p.m. along Grand Avenue from 2nd Street to City Hall.
Additionally, the Alfalfa County Museum will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Donations will be accepted to help with needs of the museum.
Also going on a tractor pull will be going on at 1 p.m. at the Alfalfa County Fairgrounds. Prior to the adult tractor pull signup at noon, their will be a pull for children eight and under at 11 a.m. For more information contact Patti Green at 580-884-0404.
