Stonehocker completes RN

Congratulations to Shycotta Stonehocker of Carmen for completing her RN degree requirements.  She is a RN at the Fairview Fellowship Home. She is married to Kyle Stonehocker.

Wheat Harvest in Full Swing

Wheat harvest in the area has arrived and is in full swing.  Although road construction through town has limited large vehicles coming through, wheat trucks are able to make it to the elevator fine.  Yields are good and weather has cooperated.

Here and There

5th of July Fire and Rescue t-shirts are being printed now and will be available for sale very soon.  Contact Katie Irwin to order your shirts.  They are very attractive.

VBS planning meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, June 27 at the Christian Church.  Helpers are still needed.  If you would like to join the fun in providing Christian education to the children in the community, plan to attend.

Be patient and watch out for farm and harvest vehicles.

After 55 Dinner June 25

The After 55 Dinner has been moved to Friday, June 25th at noon.  The center has been undergoing renovations to the kitchen and will be ready then.

Meatloaf and green beans will be served.  Bring salads, side dishes, or desserts.  Everyone is welcome!
