County commissioners take no action on bids

The Alfalfa County Commissioners met at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 9, for their weekly meeting.

The meeting was called to order with Marvin Woodall, Jay Hague and Mike Roach present.

The minutes, maintenance and operation warrants for payment and blanket purchase orders were approved first.

No road crossing permits were submitted for approval.

Next, the monthly officer reports and court clerk records management and preservation monthly report were approved as submitted.

Two items dealing with juveniles were approved next as follows:

• Transportation of juveniles for secure detention facilities log.

• Agreement between Tulsa County Juvenile Bureau and the Board of Alfalfa County Commissions.

No action was taken on the bid for tractor for road drag for District 3.

The final item was approving the appropriations for sheriff cash, courthouse security and revolving that weren’t turned in or signed during the Aug. 2 meeting.

After hearing no unforeseen business, the meeting adjourned.
