KanOkla honors area students with scholarships

KanOkla Networks is proud to announce the 2021 recipients of 12 scholarships to high school and college students.  The KanOkla Scholarship program began in 1993 and has awarded $248,000.00 for the continuing education of students in our Kansas and Oklahoma cooperative areas.  Congratulations to all!

Kale Campbell graduated from Campbell Home School and is the son of Kyle and Gina Campbell.  He plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College and major in Agriculture business.

Ethan Rhea graduated from Newkirk High School. He is the son of Jimmy and Susan Rhea.  He plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College and major in Chemical Engineering.

Summer Finney graduated from Timberlake High School.  She is the daughter of Shelby and Mindy Finney.  She plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in Fashion Merchandising.

Alyssa Russell graduated from Burlington High School. She is the daughter of Rodney and Brenda Mustard.  She plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University and pursue a career as a pharmacist.

Lucy Schneider is currently attending Wichita State University and majoring in Elementary Education.  She is the daughter of Greg and Shawna Schneider.

Julie Owen is currently attending the University of Oklahoma and majoring in Biology/Pre-Medicine.  She is the daughter of Jeff and Terri Owen.

Cade Jenlink is currently attending Oklahoma State University and majoring in Agribusiness/Pre-Law.  He is the son of Jay and Stephanie Jenlink.

Abi Schmidt is currently attending Tabor College and majoring in Marketing Communications and Graphic Design.  She is the daughter of Daniel and Trilby Schmidt.

Lucas Kuchar graduated from South Haven High School.  He is the son of Lewis and Lisa Kuchar.  He plans to attend Kansas City Community College and major in Mortuary Science.

Trey Strnad graduated from Caldwell High School. He is the son of Troy and Julia Strnad. He plans to attend Fort Hays State University and major in Agronomy Business.

Katrina Dvorak graduated from Caldwell High School.  She is the daughter of Daniel and Julie Dvorak.  She plans to attend Fort Hays State University and pursue a career as a Nurse Practitioner/Anesthetist.

Sydney Bacon graduated from South Haven High School. She is the daughter of Byron and Suzie Bacon.  She plans to attend Kansas State University and pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
