Geraldine Faye (Rodgers) Williams died September 1, 2020 in Stillwater. Her services were at 10:30 am on Friday September 4, 2020 at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Stillwater with her burial following at Flynn Memorial Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma.
She was born on September 5, 1931 to Burl Henry and Muriel Marie (Pruitt) Rodgers in Ripley, Oklahoma.
Geraldine graduated Oklahoma A&M with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. After her graduation from college, she received a Dietetic Internship at the University of Washington. She was united in marriage on August 30, 1952 to Glen Edwin Williams in Drumright.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi- Xi Delta Tau and a member of Highland Park Methodist Church. Her love of health and wellness led her to be a part of the American Dietetic Association. In her spare time, she loved to find antique glassware. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren dearly. She held each one of them in a special place in her heart and they brought endless joy into her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Burl and Muriel Rodgers; daughter Judy Vomacka, and grandson Jeremy Williams.
Geraldine is survived by her husband Glen Williams; son Scott (Allison) Williams; daughter Cary Lacefield; son-in-law Ed Vomacka; Grandchildren Beau and Gavin Lacefield and Ryan and Jessica Williams, as well as great grandsons Jacob Williams, Owen Lacefield, Samuel Lacefield and great granddaughter Lilly Lacefield.
