Mary Allen

Funeral services for Mary Allen will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the Carmen Christian Church with Pastor Kirk Board officiating. Interment will be in the Carmen City Cemetery under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC.

Mary Ann Allen, daughter of the late John and Lydia (Schneider) Rauh, was born May 23, 1930, at Gage, and passed away February 15, 2021, at Oklahoma City, at the age of 90 years, 8 months, and 22 days.

She was united in marriage to Robert Morris when she was fifteen years old. They had ten children together.  She later married Jim Allen and they made their home in Carmen. He was the love of her life and he helped her raise her children.  She was a devoted mother and wife, caring for her family. After Jim’s passing in 1998, she took it upon herself to care for her neighbors and friends.

Besides her parents and her husband, Jim, she was preceded in death by  a infant daughter, Lerita Morris; and daughter, Jody Sharp; her siblings, Clarence Rauh, George Rauh, Ruben Rauh, and Hannah Haney; and a son-in-law, Elgin Morrison.

Mary is survived by eight children, Loretta Johnson and husband, Melvin, Shawnee, Cindy Keith and husband, Ken, Enid, John Morris and wife, Tamara, Lane, Brenda Rogers and Patrick Murphy, Oklahoma City, Teresa Jones and husband, Mike, Dyersburg, Tennessee, Jane Ingraham and husband, Bruce, Enid, Shirley Neal and Kirby Winter, Blanchard, and Bruce Morris and wife, Jamie, Atoka; a son-in-law, Roy Sharp Enid; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made through the mortuary to the Carmen Christian Church or Carmen Fire and Rescue.
