Glenna Lee Mahieu

Glenna Lee Mahieu was born September 25, 1934 in Shattuck to Benjamin Leroy (Bill) Polin and Avis May (Piersall) Polin and passed from this life July 21, 2021 in Enid.

After the death of her father, Glenna and her mother moved to Helena. Glenna attended Helena School.

Glenna married Ivan Mahieu June 28, 1951 and they were married for 56 years. After getting married, they moved to a farm south of McWillie to raise their family. With all but one of her six children in school, Glenna went to work for her mother and Jack at Snider’s Meat Market.

Glenna is survived by her children, Billy Mahieu and wife, Regina, Jimmy Mahieu and wife, Paula, Jean Ann Robbins, Mary Blackledge and husband, Jim, and Peggy Bowers and husband Doug; a daughter-in-law, Susie Walters; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and one brother, Jackie Snider.

Glenna is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Mahieu; son, Johnny Leroy Mahieu; son-in-law, James Robbins; one brother, Jerry Snider, and three sisters, Dorothy Faye Wagner, Peggy Jo Sweatt and Belva Shoemaker.

Funeral service for Glenna were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Helena United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery. A viewing was held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 26.

Arrangements were by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.
